FRENCH PRESS COLD BREW

unsplash-image-kozxiMaZU24.jpg

The French press makes damn good cold brew.

The main difference here is the temperature of water you use and time.

Coffee to water ratio: Its a bit different than hot coffee. We like to stick to close to double the amount you will use for a regular French press brew. Use between 3 to 1 and 7 to 1.

Example : 756 grams water + 107 grams ground coffee = 864 grams brew weight. brew Yield = 588 grams (or 21 ounces)

Just like you would with the hot French press, grind your coffee and add it to you press.

Add ROOM TEMPERATURE water. Stir to make sure all the grounds are completely soaked.

Cover, and put in the fridge overnight.

When you wake up, plunge and enjoy. Boom! Cold Brew.
